"Service Above Self"

The Rotary Club of Livingston Parish is an international service organization rooted in serving the community. As Rotarians, we volunteer our skills and time to improving our local communities by addressing their needs and issues. Our motto "Service Above Self” is the hallmark of our organization and what makes us strive to give back. Rotary clubs like ours bring together people across all walks of life who share a passion for outreach, fellowship and building a better world together.
The Rotary Club of Livingston Parish meets on Fridays from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at James Restaurant in Denham Springs, Louisiana. We were founded in the Livingston Parish area in 1966 and are currently the only Rotary Club in our parish. We welcome all visitors to our meetings and are always looking for new members to join our family.

Community Focused
In past projects, we have held our Annual Super Hero 5k Race to raise shoe donations for the Livingston Parish School Board's shoe closet, providing shoes for children in need. We have also assisted in the restoration of the WWII Veterans Home, and fundraised for Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD).

Our Global Impact
As active participants in Rotary International, we have joined the effort to help End Polio Now. For 35 years, Rotary has been vigilantly working to eradicate polio and are one of the founding partners of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative. We have reduced polio cased by 99.9% since the first project of vaccinating children in 1979. It is crucial to continue working to keep all countries polio free as it remains endemic in Afghanistan & Pakistan. Together, we can help eradicate this disease
